Why is Global Trade VillageÒ?
Based on our more than 25 years of experience in international trade, we, at Global Trade Village, create an online platform for suppliers in renewable energy industries worldwide to present their proudcts and for buyers to get the best---the finest quality and the lowest pricing-- through our diligent screening procedures and the unique purchasing wholesale buying group program.
We believe this will benefit both the suppliers and the buyers, in particular for the US small business owners in this energy business. It's practical, economical and efficient.
How do I buy or source products from overseas suppliers?
First, you go to Buyer section, pick Main and Subcategory and browse the product you want. If the product you are looking for is not listed there, then you can source and tell us what you need.
After receiving your request, we will ask the suppliers to submit their quotes. For the product you are sourcing, we will ask all relevant suppliers to submit their quotes (bids).
After reviewing their quotes, we will present the best and give you the final pricing.
If you wish to order, we will take care the rest of the details including presenting the sample to you for approval, arranging the transaction and finally, delivering the product to your destination.
How do I sell my products to the overseas market?
First, you go to Seller section, pick a Main and Subcategory and list your products. You may list as many as you want, but only energy-related products will be considered. It is free. This will instantly expose your product to the overseas market. Also don't forget to check the section of Buyer's RFQs and see if you can supply such products. Whenever there is a buyer from overseas who expresses his interest in your products, we will ask you to submit your quote.
If the buyer accepts and decides to order, we will issue a purchase order to you. Basically, you deal with us and we deal with the overseas buyer. We handle all transactions icluding payment to you and the shipping arrangement.
What are Featured Products?
The products listed under Featured Products from overseas suppliers are from the top tier manufacturers offering a substantial discount for our small business owners. Their products meet or exceed the international standards. They are particularly suitable for wholesale buying group program. Many small business owners can use such products.
What is your wholesale buying group program for the small business?
We believe in " the power of people". If we can pull lots of small business owners together, we can form a mighty purchasing power like a big corporate. By pooling many small orders together, we are able to negotiate the best possible price with our suppliers for a container volume, just like your distributor or big contractor does. The difference is in every step of distribution, we cut the overhead costs as much as we can.
For example, except to keep a small volume of critical parts, we hold no excessive stocks and inventories. Once the shipment being cleared by the US Customs, we distribute each order, which has been packaged individually by the manufacturer if possible (another way of saving), right from the container to the customer. Each step of saving is passed on to our customer. We pay less so you pay less.
How do I get into this wholesale buying group program?
It all starts with a very simple step. Pick a product in Featured Products section or the general listings and submit your request for a quote with different quantities you want, we will tell you the different levels of volume pricings. No minimum quantity is required.
What follows are comprehensive updates on pricing and the mumber of orders and volumes received prior to the deadline and final pricing you will receive. It is as simple as that!
There is NO cost by requesting for a quote. If the product you need does not reach the required volume by pooling all orders together by the deadline, we will let you know. If there is no order, there is NO cost to you whatsoever. You pay only when you order.

What is your "Refer a Friend" program?
The "Refer a Friend" program is one way to pool small business owners together to maximize the benefits of wholesale buyering group program. So please tell your friends why they should join the wholesale buying group.
As a token of our appreciation, we will award you a 2.5% discount on your next order for every "Friend" (referral) entering an order within 6 months. While your "Friends" (referrals) will receive 2.5% discount when they place orders within the next 6 months.
Making a referral is pertty easy.
Register at www.globaltradevillage.com as a buyer. We will issue you ID and Password. Then log in to "My Account" and go to the "Refer a Friend" link. Enter as many referrals' names and addresses as you want.
Or if you prefer, please give us your friends' names and contact information through phone (608-829-4625) or email (info@globaltradevillage.com) we will contact them on your behalf.
Here are the "Refer a Friend" rules:
1. For each "Friend" (referral) enters ordering within 6 months, you will receive 5% discount on your next order within 1 year.
2. The 2.5% discount will be applied to one "Friend" (referral) at a time. For example, three "Friends" (referrals) enter ordering within 6 months, your 2.5% discount is applicalble to each of your next 3 orders within 1 year.
3. Your "Friend" (referral) will receive 2.5% discount on their 1st order within 6 months.
4. The 2.5% discounts apply to all Global Trade Village products.
5. Annual membership fee is $100, but the fee will be waivered for the first 500 members.
6. These offers may be changed or terminated without advanced notice.
